The O’Neill Coldwater Classic Series is one of only two specialty series within the ASP World Tour, along with the renowned Triple Crown in Hawaii.

The CWC is a 5 event series of the highest rated events on the ASP Star Series and offers the maximum total prizemoney of US $145,000 for each event.

While surfers are competing for all important points towards their ASP One Ranking and subsequent elevation to the elite World Tour at each CWC event, they also receive points towards the overall CWC Series Champion and a cool US $50,000 bonus.

Each event is awarded equally in terms of points when it comes to the CWC Series rankings - that of a 6 Star WQS event.
