David Wise loves two things—skiing and his family. Growing up around Lake Tahoe, David got his start on skis at 3 years old. Originally, a racer, David was a terror during ski practice, always leaving the group to break into the terrain park and breaking expensive race skis on jumps. Finally, he was able to make the switch and has since racked up some big wins. Three-time-defending X Games Aspen SuperPipe gold medalist, David scored, in 2014, Olympic gold in halfpipe.
When he isn’t skiing, Wise is spending time with his biggest fans, his wife Alexandra and his two kids. In the summer, he spends time on the beaches of Tahoe or out on his mountain bike. He's also a humanitarian. His non-profit, "We Say Water," donates to water projects in Malawi.
