Kain Daly
OFF THE MAUI SHORES
At 15 years of age, Kain Daly is already considered one of most talented prospects to come out of Hawaii. Born and bred on the shores of Maui, Kain has been strongly influenced by his peers on the island and considers Tavares one of his favorite surf spots. However, this young athlete has global experience under his belt already, which explains his impressive power and flow in a variety of conditions.
WILLING AND ABLE
Kain has been on a remarkable path since making the Explorer Boys final at the 2010 Nationals.
He also secured double wins in the Open Juniors and Explorers Men's divisions of recent NSSA Hawaii events, taking advantage of both contests in the local waters of Lahaina Harbor. He then continued the monster year by taking third in the Open Men's division of the fourth event.
Kain is quickly developing into a legit National title contender for 2011, but he has even loftier goals on the horizon: ISA world title. Don't doubt him, he might just do it.
