Billy Bain
Billy Bain was born and raised in thebeachside suburb
of Manly. The son of former pro surfer Rob Bain, it was a
given that Billy would be spending some time in and around the ocean. Not that Billy can remember, but his first few years involved being dragged around in a make shift bed to many far flung locations on the ASP tour.
Many years down the line and Billy is a 16 year old powerful goofy footer, who craves hollow lefts. Most of his surf trips and locations havebeen along the Australia coast, including Tasmania, West OZ, Queensland,Victoria and South Australia.
Early in 2009 Billy got to take part on asurf expedition to the outer islands of the Solomon's. It was an experience that gave him the opportunity to see a completely different culture and surfsome spots never before surfed, and in a remote and unique region. He viewed this trip as a real eye opener,and is keen to explore more locations in the future.
Though he has won regional and state titlesand made the Australian Gromsearch titles' he is focused on improving hisoverall surfing, and not just contest results.
Billy loves nothing more than a ledgeyhollow left hand barrel, and we are sure that he will be trying to hunt these down in the years ahead.

Too many to remember, usually just laugh it off anyway.
Favourite quote? "Look at all this floor space! So much roomfor activities, we can do aerobics in here, it's making my head spin how many activities we can do."

Favourite surf destination and wave? South coast of nsw.
Favourite manoeuvre? Grab rail reverses and barrels.
