Marc Kroon

Marc Kroon

Biography:

Marc Kroon is a fearless rookie that is set to take the pro wakeboarding world by storm in the coming years. Growing up in the middle of Holland alongside his elder brother Nils, it was only a matter of time before Marc tried wakeboarding for the first time on one of the area's many lakes. His own country's rich wakeboarding heritage has been a constant source of inspiration for the teenager, while teammates and industry veterans including Duncan Zuur and Cyril Cornaro have played a crucial role in guiding Marc through the start of what promises to be a long and successful career. After dominating national contests for a number of years, the young buck from Loosdrecht has now broadened his horizons and ambitions by training in Florida during the winter months and competing against the world's best wakeboarders. Outside of his chosen calling, Kroon enjoys bouncing around on his trampoline and chowing down on the occasional hamburger. Marc is also a keen follower of a number of other sports, including basketball and ice hockey.

A: My borther Nils and Duncan Zuur. When we ride together we always seem to have a lot of fun.

Q: Other than home, where is your favorite place to ride, and why?
