Lucas Guichard
Lucas Guichard is yet another one of our team riders that seems to come from here, there and everywhere. Born in Oslo to a French dad and Norwegian mother, Lucas now lives with his family down in Tavira on the south coast of Portugal. Guichard has never had any problems finding people to surf with thanks to the fact his twin brother Joackim is a passionate surfer that also just so happens to be sponsored by O'Neill. With the loving support of their parents, these two Franco-Norwegian brothers have been tearing it up for some time already wherever they paddle out. Never afraid to execute maneuvers in the most critical parts of the wave, Lucas has been busy putting in some solid competitive performances, and even earned himself a promising runner-up position at last year's European Pro Juniors event in Carcavelos. Other than surfing in his adoptive country of Portugal, the 19-year-old is always pumped to travel further south to Morocco to shred and train alongside his twin brother. Outside of the water, Lucas loves playing tennis and is doing his best these days to learn a few chords on the guitar. Look out for the Guichard twins as they look to make a real impression on the WQS circuit in the coming years.
