Stuart Campbell

Stuart Campbell

Biography:

Stuart Campbell is one of the UK's most promising surfers in recent memory, and has been dominating the national scene since 2003 when he signed for O'Neill and captured his first British Junior Championship title. Since then, this dynamic surfer from Woolacombe in Devon has won national titles in every junior age group. Not only has Campbell won so many contests, but almost just as importantly, he's won them all in style. Brought up on a diet of challenging waves and seemingly countless victories, it's no small wonder this regular-footed surfer is now looking to emulate the achievement of fellow British surfer Russell Winter by qualifying for the elite World Tour. First though, Campbell is 100% focussed on going head-to-head with Europe's best juniors on the European Pro Junior Tour this year before paying his dues on the WQS circuit over the course of the next few years. In the meantime, Stuart is proud to represent Great Britain as part of the British Junior Surf Team, and will once again hope to compete for his country in the World Junior Surfing Games.

Stuart dominated his early heats blasting his way to high scores. As the sun was setting into the sea the finals played out in low light. Stuart continued his dominance at the start of the heat with a high scoring wave in the first minute. He then started taking huge risks taking on big manoeuvres, and was successfully completing every move.
