Iris M. Lazz

Iris M. Lazz

Biography:

Iris Lass was born, raised, and is still kicking it in Tahoe because she loves the mountains.  She has been playing outside her whole life and picked up snowboarding when she was 12.  Shredding quickly became her main activity in the Winter, then Summer…and now it consumes her whole life.

Iris started competing in Slopestyles and rail jams when she was 17, performing well at the Volcom PBRJs, Transworld Team Challenge, Nikita Chikitas, earning a name for herself in the industry.  As she matured, she grew away from parks and rails, in favor of riding mountains exactly as they were, using natural terrain to jib and jump around.

She now competes in big mountain snowboarding events at The NorthFace Masters, Freeride World Tour and King of the Hill, while shooting photos and videos on the side.

Away from the mountain, Iris focuses her time on family, friends, nutrition, crossfit, and church. According to Iris, every piece of her life needs the other -- it's like a game of Jenga and she ain't losing!

These days, Iris is focusing on progressing in every part of her life, learning from mistakes, growing as a person, spending her time wisely, loving the ones she loves, never holding back laughter, and doing what she loves.

Not a bad outlook for this young snowboard star.
