Most embarrassing moment?
I have the same most embarassing moment on a weekly basis. I always seem to run into, (and knock over) a lamp that's on a coffee table at my house. It's really in an inconvenient place! For some reason, this happens whenever people are over.

Chocolate or Vanilla?
Chocolate- especially when frappacinos are involved.
Glass on fins or fin systems? Why?
I would say glass on fins for you everyday board, and fin systems for traveling. I'm no fin expert, but with glass on fins, I feel my board is more like one unit. It feels like it flows more. Fin systems definately have an advantage though, since they offer more opportunity for experimentation.
Favorite surf destination and wave?
My favorite surf destination is El Salvador. El Salvador has many right point breaks and beautiful nature surrounding you. My favorite wave there is Punta Mango. The wave is a hollow, right point. Plus, riding in the boat to get there was pretty fun too. We sang the "Punta Mango song"- which we wrote to the beat of some El Salvadorian rap music we heard our drivers listening to.
Favorite maneuver?
A fluid wrap-around turn.
Celebrity crush?
I don't really have a celebrity crush.
What's in your traveling quiver?
I love my standard Nezzy 5'8, the board I always use. I have a couple of these, because I love them so much! In traveling somewhere, I bring one of these and a step-up board. My step-up board is a bright green, Nezzy 5'11. It catches waves easily, and manuevers easily. It doesn't manuever the same as my ideal 5'8'', but it just takes getting used to. It turns solid and with power, and is a joy to surf.
Favorite website?
oneill.com has to be one of my favorites, since I'm on it, lol. Other than that, I like wavewatch since it has a wave camera for Oceanside.
Sounds (music)?
SCORPIONS! Rebelution, Pink Floyd, Zeppelin. I like everything- I get bored with one genre.
Biggest influence in your life?
My dad, and aunt Inannaka.
Favorite Surfers?
Sean Mattison, Tom Curren. Everyone.
What traits in a boy do you find most attractive?
Happiness and an open mind.
Worst wipeout?
Paddling out at North Jetty, a set wave broke right on top of me and drug me to the bottom. I didn't know which way was up, it was scary.
Words to live by?

I like this because it's saying that I don't feel the competition of others, or measuring up against one another. Not having to worry about acting in a certain way through an illusion, means having a free spirit has already been accomplished. I can express yourself more this way. When I'm walking around somewhere, or interacting with others, I tell myself this.
