It'sthe moment the three girls have been waiting for – ever since they got thephone call from O'Neill & NEXT telling them they had made it to the finalof the Superkini Model Search; Charis, Savannah and Maria have been countingthe days waiting for this weekend to arrive.
For these three model-hopefuls, this is a very special weekend - this is theirfirst taste of life as an international model. For one girl, it will mark the launch of her new career. The three girlsbeat competition from 3,000 other entrants around the world to synch their spothere at the Final in Miami. The winner will become an O'Neill Girl forSpring/Summer 2014 and sign a year's contract with Next Model Management. Plus all three girls will take home a bigstash of O'Neill goodies and have an amazing, unforgettable life experience.
During the three-day final in Miami, Charis (23, from the Netherlands), Maria (18,from Germany) and Savannah (19, from the USA) are staying in a big hotel roomon Collins Avenue together. Their days are filled with many new and exitingexperiences.
Dayone the girls got to go on their first beach shoot ever! This swimwear shoottook place on Miami Beach and the three right away showed all their modelingqualities, like real naturals.
On the second day the girls had a very early call time to have a fantasticlifestyle shoot with well-known photographer Beth Studenberg. The girls completely threw themselves in to the deep and gave their utmost model moves.
Savannah:
" I thought our beach shoot was very exhilarating. So much fun. I never shot with amale model, nor have I had a real beach shoot either. I loved getting to workwith professional photographers. And I learned a lot from these passed twodays! – Now I'm just most nervous for the catwalk practice."
Maria:
" Ireally loved the shoots, the photographers were great, the locations wereamazing and I loved the beach. The bikini's were super cute and the outfitswere great. I was not so nervous in front of the camera, I just had a reallyfun time!"
Charis:
"I've been very excited about the shoots, but in a positive way, which reallysupported me and gave me a lot of energy. I loved doing the shoots, and I likedworking with a male model and I really can't wait to see the end resultstomorrow! Moreover I just wish we could stay here for one more week."
After the shoot days the girls were giving some proper pampering. They got hairblowouts and manicures, living the true USA-life.
Now that the girls had turned in to real models within the first two days in Miami,O'Neill & NEXT had a surprise for the girls: Visit some of the biggestshows on the Miami Swimweek! In theircutest outfits they arrived at the venue, absolutely thrilled and somewhatquiet from all the impressions.
Afterthe shows they said unanimously:
"The shows were amazing, so much fun and inspiring! Can't wait to go to a showagain if I could and of course….walk in one one day!"
