Idoia Meabe
Hello, my name is Idoia Meabe and i am from Zarautz, in the Basque Country.
I started surfing when I was 7 years old after my parents bought me a bodyboard for my birthday.
I started off bodyboarding noramlly, but over time learnt to stand on it. I was in the water once when a surf teacher Gallo saw me and asked me if i wanted to surf with him.
On my first day I stood up on the board.
When I was 8 years old I had my first board.
My first competition was in Hendaya when I was 8 years old.
Then, when I was 12 years old, O'Neill sponsored me. I now train with Gallo.
Besides surf, I like football, skating, and being with my friends...
