OPTIMIZE YOUR TIME ON THE SLOPES

Ski goggles are one of the most important parts of your kit when you’re out on the slopes all day. They protect your eyes from wind, cold and sun, improving your overall skiing or snowboarding experience and keeping you safe. O’Neill goggles have a comfortable fit and provide maximum vision. All our goggles have a spherical lens with 100% UV protection, anti-fog treatment and triple layer face foam. A spherical lens is a special ski goggle lens that curves around your face to create a wide field of view, and the triple layer face foam creates an increased distance between the lense and your face, this distance helps to ensure that fogging is kept to a minimum.

CHOOSE YOUR GOGGLES

There are two main types of goggle lenses that you can choose; each type/color lens will filter light differently. Yellow, rose and blue tinted lenses perform best in low light, these will improve your vision on cloudy days on the slopes. Contrastingly, black, grey, and gold lenses that are often mirrored will function best on sunny days. These ski goggles serve to protect your eyes by keeping harmful UV rays at bay.

Depending on the weather conditions, you may want to bring two pairs of snow goggles on your ski holiday. The more time you spend in the slopes, the more weather conditions you’re likely to encounter! O’Neill goggles can last a lifetime but be sure to take care of them to keep them in peak condition. After wearing a pair on the slopes, first air dry your goggles before storing them in a dust bag. Be careful that your goggles don’t dry directly in the sun, this can damage the anti-fogging coating. And of course, try your best to not drop your goggles on hard surfaces to prevent scratching.
